FACILITIES

 

The Institute has a range of facilities available for hire by groups and individuals. If you would like to make a booking please fill in the online booking form. You can check  availability on the calendar.

 

The Hall 

The large hall can be used in it’s entirety for gatherings or events, or partitioned to give a space which is still big enough for groups and meetings. 

 

The Kitchen and Cafe

The Café is open at certain times during the week and if you are hiring the hall in these times you will be able to purchase refreshments from the Cafe. Alternatively, if access to the kitchen is required for your booking, this can be arranged provided the kitchen is available. Please state on the booking form if use of the kitchen is required.

Office Space: Internet access

If you need occasional office space with internet access you can make use of the quiet room upstairs.  This access is only available when the Tea Room is open.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You will need to read and agree to our terms and conditions when making a booking.

 

 

FEES

​

The hire rate for groups is £10 per hour, or £20 for a 2 - 2.5 hour session (regular bookings).

​

Public or private events hire (hall plus kitchen if required) costs £40 per evening or part-day.

​

Local not-for profit-groups using the Institute are charged a reduced fee of £10 per session. (A session is a morning, afternoon or evening slot of around 2 or 2.5 hours.)

​

Company-run or corporate events are charged at £95 per day for the use of the Hall and Kitchen.

 

Hire for funeral teas costs £55. 

​

Snooker Room is £5 per hour.

​

Use of the kitchen can be included in the booking outside of cafe hours.
